SPORTS, LLC opened in 1996 in Kensington, MD as a joint venture with Holy Cross Hospital, John A. Romero PT, MA, SCS and Robert C. Grossman PT, OCS. It is now owned and run by Karim Wassef PT, DPT, CIMT and John A. Romero PT, MA SCS.
With state of the art equipment, advanced manual therapy skills and individualized rehabilitation programs developed after years treating professional and amateur athletes, physical therapists provide outstanding care for all orthopedic conditions and surgeries. Dr. Wassef was awarded clinical instructor of the year by Marymount University in 2014 and Mr. Romero received the same award from George Washington University in 2012.
SPORTS, LLC is open 5 days a week with 6 therapists on staff. Besides outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation emphasizing manual therapy approaches, our therapist Peggy Treseler PT, MA provides specialized treatment of women with incontinence, pre- and post-partum conditions and pelvic area pain, injuries and dysfunctions. We accept most insurance plans and are Medicare certified.
