Having shoulder pain ?

It could be due to your rotator cuff. According to National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) is reported that more than 200,000 people have surgery on a shoulder every year in the U.S. because of a rotator cuff problem. Another estimated 400,000 have surgery because of partial rotator cuff tears or rotator cuff tendonitis. Furthermore, when it comes to rotator cuff injuries, people over the age of 40 are more prone to rotator cuff injuries, the young are at risk, too. Dislocated shoulders can lead to rotator cuff injuries at any age. People who suffer from chronic shoulder inflammation are at risk for rotator cuff injuries. Recent research has shown that many patients who receive good PT have similar outcomes compared to those who had surgery i.e. many small to medium cuff tears can be managed conservatively. Talk to our physical therapist and find out what warmup exercises and other prevention strategies can work for you. Beat shoulder pain today!
