Jocquel Skinner is a physical therapist technician at Sports and Orthopaedic Therapy Services, LLC (SP.OR.T.S.) He was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and attended Bethel University, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business. At Bethel he was a four-year starter on the football team as a defensive back. Shortly after graduating, he pursued a professional career in the NFL, playing for the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions.
During his athletic career he battled and overcame many injuries. While being in and out of physical therapy, he found a passion for sports rehabilitation. Jocquel has been a personal and athletic enhancement trainer for the last three years, for both youth and adults. He plans to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy specializing in athletic recovery. He hopes to gain more knowledge to educate athletes on proper movement pattern along with excelling in their athletic performance.

Our post physical therapy programs will compliment your condition in a way that strengthens your body where you need it the most and minimizes the risk of an injury recurrence. Once you are ready for exercise, our physical therapist will recommend implementing it into your plan of care.
