Karim Wassef
Clinic Owner- Director PT, DPT, CIMTKarim earned his Master’s & Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Marymount University in 2004 and 2007. He is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) and has worked primarily with outpatient orthopedic and sports injuries for the last 12 years. He has a postural-structural approach to treating all types of injuries of the spine and extremities and is committed to the success of his patients reaching their goals.
John Romero
Founder, PT, MA, SCSJohn Romero received his Master’s degree in PT from Stanford University in 1978. He was the director of DC’s first sports medicine center and Chief Therapist for the Washington Bullets, Capitals, and Diplomats teams. He co-founded his private practice in 1987 and was the first Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in MD in 1988. John is a clinical professor and an expert in Sports and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Josephine Egan
PT, Bsc (Physio), CMTPT/DNJosephine holds a Bachelor of Science in Physio Therapy from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. She received her certification in Maitland Manual Therapy from Norwich Medical Center, England. She was the head of the Department of Orthopedics Rehabilitation at Meath Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Josephine completed the National Physical Therapy Exam for the Maryland PT license in 2012 and is also a certified Myofascial Trigger Point therapist.
Marwan Kublawi
PT, ScD, OCS, FAAMOPTDr. Kublawi graduated Marymount University in 1999 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He later completed his training in manipulative therapy through Kaiser Permanente Northern California Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program in 2007. Upon completion, he received Fellowship status through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) and later became board certified as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS).
Geoffrey Goidell
PT, DPTGeoff was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, and moved to Maryland following completion of his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. He received his doctorate degree in 2019 from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Geoff is experienced in treating a diverse orthopedic population and has interest specifically in manual therapy, vestibular conditions, and chronic pain.
Kristie Lee
PT, DPT, CMTPT/DNKristie was born and raised in Maryland. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Andrews University in 2015. Kristie will offer our patients strong manual therapy skills, sports performance and enhancement, functional analysis and pre-and-post-operative care. She is also a certified Myofascial Trigger Point therapist.
Sheila Ziglari
Sheila Ziglari was born and raised in Maryland. Sheila received her doctorate degree in 2020 from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and has experience working with various orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Sheila is interested in receiving a certification in therapeutic yoga and Pilates.Sigita Vilchez
PT TechSigita was born in Lithuania and moved to Maryland in 2002. She studied at Montgomery College where she earned her PT Technician certification. She loves to help people and is always there to support her coworkers and patients.
Ebony McDonald
Office ManagerEbony has worked with SPORTS, LLC since 2006. She formerly worked in an associated office for many years as patient coordinator. She is an excellent patient administrative representative with extensive knowledge of outpatient orthopedics.
Cheyenne Brothers
Patient Care Rep & CoordinatorCheyenne has traveled around the country for most of her life. She attended Hagerstown Community College and OU (Oklahoma University) for a semester before she relocated to Maryland. Cheyenne enjoys helping people, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Jenny Amaya
Patient Coordinator & Marketing AssistantJenny is the patient care coordinator and marketing assistant. She is the liaison between patients and Physical Therapists.
